goCoastal.co.uk will send about 500,000 visitors to advertisers own websites! This is one way goCoastal.co.uk generates enquiries! These enquiries will not come direct through goCoastal.co.uk but possibly through your own website!
For every 1 email enquiry direct from goCoastal.co.uk we send about 40 people to websites link from here, who may then in turn enquire through that website.
During the summer months last year over 500 enquiries a week were generated this way!
However, in the same period last year over 20,000 visitors a week were sent from goCoastal.co.uk directly to advertisers' websites via their own website link
The big problem with encouraging website click-throughs, and ultimately why goCoastal.co.uk is one of the only directorys that allow this, is because the majority of advertisers with website links from goCoastal.co.uk don't know or realise the number of enquiries which originated from a £49 listing at goCoastal.co.uk.

Unfortunately, this 'other' accommodation directory receiving enquiries from a link here at goCoastal.co.uk is almost certainly not going to acknowledge the fact that actally goCoastal.co.uk has been a major factor in your bookings! They definately wont tell you!
So next time you get an enquiry through YOUR own website or from any website, ask them exactly how they found you, ask them if they came through a site called goCoastal.co.uk! The chances are many bookings generated from your own website enquiry form or one at that 'other' accommodation directory had actually originated from a rather affordable £18 listing at goCoastal.co.uk!
It is always worth adding a drop down list or select box to your enquiry form allowing enquirers the chance to state how they found you.

Sleeps & Bedrooms should where possible be shown and these are used by people browsing to re-filter results and ommiting these may mean you dont show up as often as people who give these values!
The same applies for Price Comparisons as results can now be filtered by price, so please ensure the relevant comparisons are given. This also applies to Short Break comparison and if you promote short breaks in general please make sure you big them up too!
Please ensure you are using the eye catcher and make sure if you do it is not giving out of date information! The Eye Catcher is a simple way to promote your accommodation and bring attention to it. Remember you can use this for absolutely anything!
Likewise give ten reasons to book and these will be displayed in a bulleted listing and bring attention to the selling points of your accommodation.
Since the Jan re-launch of goCoastal.co.uk you can now show your proximity to the coast/beach as well as whether you have a sea view and these can be used by browsers at the site to re-filter results. If you are beach front or sea view you can also give a brief paragraph to big-up your position!
If you have a lovely looking property, are you showing it off with lots nice pictures? These can be easily uploaded using the Image Upload facility within the Member's Area!

In general, people regularly using this facility receive more business than those who dont! You will increase coverage and more people will be drawn to your details page, to your website and to enquire! Plus you can promote only week availability that you actually want to shift!!!
