Location & Surroundings
Harbour StreetIn the heart of Whitstable, surrounded by boutique shops, restaurants and galleries Harbour Street is just a stone's throw from the beach. Flat One is located in what was once the Palais de Luxe, a historic theatre and cinema which showed silent films. Across the road is the Tudor Tea Rooms, the favourite haunt of actor, Peter Cushing. The Harbour is only a short walk away and cycle hire and watersports activities all close by.
Directions & Getting Here
Arriving By Car: From A299 head down Borstal Hill & High Street. At Dukeof Cumberland go straight into Horsebridge Rd/Sea St. Take sharp right at Dinghy Store back into Harbour St. Location is on the corner of Victoria St. / Harbour St. at 37/38 Harbour Street.
Arriving By Train: From Whitstable Station take taxi at Abacus Cars or 10 minutes walk up Cromwell Road to traffic lights at Harbour. Turn left (into beginning of Harbour Street) continue on until you reach 37/38 Harbour Street, opposite Carol Ridley Clothes.
