BedroomsThere are 2 bedrooms. Upstairs is the double bedroom with ensuite and shower, with views over the terraced gardens at the back and the wooded valley at the front. Downstairs is the twin bedroom with bay window overlooking the front patio, lawned garden and woods beyond. The downstairs bathroom has bath and shower.

Living AreasThere is a well-equipped kitchen (microwave, 'fridge, electric cooker) which leads through a delightful arch into the dining room with a woodburner style gas fire. The dining room door leads onto the floodlit side patio with garden furniture and access to the terraced gardens. There is a comfortable lounge with views over the fields from one side and over the the front garden from the bay window with its separate seating area. There is Wi-Fi.
Location & Surroundings
Surroundings & LocationCove Brooke has terraced gardens to the side and rear and a pond with water feature (which can be gated to prevent access). In addition to the side patio, there are also front patios with benches overlooking the formal lawn and flower beds. Cove Brooke is idyllically situated in a wooded valley and is well-placed for visiting the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the coastal paths, the many quaint harbours, coves and villages, the Eden Project and Truro.
Directions & Getting Here
Arriving By Car: Cove Brooke is ideally located as it is the third house on the left after you pass the Mevagissey sign on the B3273, approaching from the St. Austell direction. The B3273 is a scenic road which links St. Austell to Mevagissey.
Arriving By Train: Mevagissey is very well served by public transport. You can arrive by train at St. Austell from anywhere in the country. Next to the train station is the bus and coach station from where you can catch the local bus to Mevagissey.
Arriving By Bus/Coach: St. Austell is very well served by National Express coaches. The coach station is also the bus station from where you can catch the local bus to Mevagissey. The journey takes 20 minutes and is a regular service ( 2 buses an hour).
Nearest Airport: The nearest airport is Newquay. There is a bus stop directly outside from where you can catch a bus to St. Austell and then from St. Austell to Mevagissey. Day Rovers are available on the bus. It's only a short walk from the bus stop to the cottage.
