BedroomsThe self catering accommodation has two comfortable, well furnished and decorated bedrooms and a bathroom with wash basin, bath and electric shower. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed with a duvet and coordinated bedding. Bedroom 2 has two full size single beds with duvets and coordinated bedding. Both bedrooms have radio clock alarms. A high chair, travel cot and fireguard are all provided.
Living & Facilities
Living AreasThe tastefully decorated, well equipped lounge has original beams to the ceiling and a living gas fire. There are two double size leather sofas, a flat screen TV, DVD player, video recorder and music system with CD and radio. A large collection of DVDs and videos are provided for guests to enjoy, along with a selection of board and card games. The bookshelves house a collection of fiction and reference books for both adults and children.
Lovely well equipped kitchen with traditional units and beamed ceiling. Everything you need is provided - microwave, modern electric cooker, fridge freezer and automatic washing machine. There is a folding table and chairs. Crockery, cutlery and glassware is provided along with essentials such as: washing up liquid, soap and hand cream. Salt, pepper and vinegar can also be found for the wonderful fish suppers you can buy in the village!
A welcome pack will greet you on your arrival and supplies of tea, coffee and sugar are all provided.
Location & Surroundings
Surroundings & Location.The RSPB bird sanctuary is in the neighbouring village of Bempton,one of the many highlights is the arrival of puffins in late spring each year.The traditional seaside towns of Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough with long, sandy beaches and excellent leisure facilities are just a short drive away. Nearby historic houses and gardens include Burton Agnes, Sewerby and Sledmere. Whitby and Flamingo Land are among many attractions for a day out.
