Just 2 miles from Lynton and LynmouthLynton and Lynmouth are joined by the famous water powered cliff railway and well worth a ride on for the amazing clifftop views. Lynmouth also has a beach.
Walks from the door!Set off across our fields and walk into Lynton or across to Valley of Rocks, Lee Bay and Woody Bay.
Surfing beachesWoolacombe Bay is only 18 miles and Croyde Bay just a little further. Both are good for surfing.
Directions & Getting Here
Arriving By Car: We are situated on the A39 (set back off the road). From Lynton - 3/4 mile up the hill from Barbrook garage on the right. From Blackmoor Gate it's about 5 miles, just 200 yards on the left after Caffyns turn off. EX35 6JS (but ignore satnav at end!)
Arriving By Train: Train to Barnstaple, then 310 bus
Arriving By Bus/Coach: 310 bus from Barnstaple to Lynton. 200yards from Caffyns, but the driver will stop at Dean Steep if asked.
