The park overlooks the Dart which is a 10 min walk down to the water's edge. Some bungalows have a view of the Dart from their private patio area. The nearest beach is Broadsands at 1.5 miles.

Bedrooms & Sleeping 

2 bedrooms
We have 2 bed bungalows sleeping 3 people Plain Sailing, Spindrift, Lucy Lou and Dart Haven (double and single) and one bungalow sleeping 4 (2 adults and 2 children, not 4 adults) Laura Lee.

1 bedroom
The Jays has one large bedroom and sleeps 2 in a king sized bed. Dart Vale also has one large bedroom with a standard double bed.

Location & Surroundings 

On the fringes of Galmpton Village
Galmpton lies between Paignton and Brixham in the Dart Valley, we border Torbay and South Hams. (There is another Galmpton which is near Kingsbridge, we are not that one!) There are beautiful views of the Dart and countryside where you can see Dartmoor in the distance. The sunsets are spectacular as it sets over the water. 3 miles from Brixham, 4 miles Paignton, 7 miles Torquay. Dartmouth is 5 miles via the ferry from Kingswear. Totnes 6 miles

Directions & Getting Here 

Arriving By Car: DIRECTIONS From anywhere other than Cornwall or West Devon Head for Exeter where the M5 Southbound ends and follow signs for A380 Torquay and then Brixham. The postcode is TQ5 0EP

Arriving By Train: Paignton station is 4 miles

Arriving By Bus/Coach: The number 12 bus drops off at the top of the village so you would have to walk a mile to the bungalows from the bus stop.

Nearest Airport: Exeter 25 miles

Tariff & Pricing 

Week: £290-£520
From £290 per week Nov - March and rises to a maximum of £520 in July/August. This is great value.

Short Break: £270-£365
As with weekend breaks, generally offered between October and May each year with any start date. Sometimes we can offer summer short breaks if there is late availability.

Weekend: £200-£250
We generally offer short breaks during quieter months i.e from October to May at min 3 nights with flexible start days. Sometimes we offer short breaks in the summer as with Lucy Lou this year. A 3 night break in April is usually around £225.

Our weekly prices vary from £290 pw in the winter to £520 per week in the summer. We don't hike prices up for school holidays such as Easter, Whitsun, Feb or October half terms. The prices rise gradually throughout the season and are very fair. (I hate to see parents penalised for holidaying in school holidays and then the price going down the following week).

We offer short breaks which vary from £210 for 3 nights in low season.

Additional Details 

Galmpton Park Bungalows
Although I have listed as a holiday park, it isn't really a holiday park in the true sense. There are no clubs, playgrounds or facilities on site, just privately owned holiday bungalows that are all on the same piece of land.
