And if you are thirsty, we have our own Oakleaf Brewery offering brewery tours and tastings of Gosport’s very own fine ales, which are available in local pubs!

And don’t forget our Tuesday and Saturday street markets.

Portsmouth’s dockyard with Nelson’s flagship HMS Victory and famous Spinnaker Tower, with its magnificent views, are just 4 minutes ferry ride across the Harbour. And the Isle of Wight is a short hop across the Solent by ferry, catamaran, car ferry or hovercraft.

The New Forest, Southampton and the cathedral cities of Winchester and Chichester are all a short drive away, making Gosport an ideal base to explore the region.

Gosport is a great base for exploring south coast and is the home to Submarine Museum and Explosion, Museum of Naval Firepower.

There is a fantastic ferry service from Gosport to The Hard, Portsmouth, which only takes 4 mins. You are then just a few minutes walk from the Historic Dockyard and Gun Wharf Quays.

Why not hop on the ferry for a trip to the Isle of Wight.
