The apartment is in a quiet residential area yet is only approx. 10 min walk from "The Waterfront" where there is a wide choice of restaurants, cafes and shops overlooking the Marina, a large supermarket, boat trips and watersports. A 2 minute walk to the bus-stop with regular service to Eastbourne town centre (approx. 3 miles) and surrounding areas.
Eastbourne British Rail is approx 4 miles away with direct trains to London (via Gatwick Airport). Newhaven ferry port with regular service to Dieppe is approx 30 minute's drive so don't forget to bring your passport if you fancy a trip to France.
Eastbourne has lots of parks, various sports facilities, bowling & laserquest Centre. Courses in Hang Gliding, Paragliding, snow boarding, skiing, yoga and golf available nearby. Boat, diving and fishing trips available from the Harbour.
Beachy Head with its famous Belle Toute Lighthouse, amazing coastline walks & cycle paths is within 10 minutes drive. Historic Pevensey Castle (where William the Conqueror landed in 1066), Battle, Hastings, Brighton are also close.
